Despite M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong> bassist Nikki Sixx<\/strong> saying that troubled Crue singer Vince Neil<\/strong> is “killing it” while working with “trainers” and “nutritionists”, word has leaked out today from a band insider confirming that “Vince is out and Crabs is in!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Nobody wanted this day to come, because we all love Vince to death, the anonymous source said. “In the end, what matters most is his health and safety. John Corabi is one of the most talented singers in rock history, and there was a unanimous choice among Nikki, Tommy and Mick, as to who would replace the rotund glam metal icon, as Crue continues preparation for the opening night of the band’s highly anticpated “The Stadium Tour”<\/strong> with DEF LEPPARD<\/strong>, POISON<\/strong> and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was earlier speculation that singer Michael Starr of STEEL PANTHER<\/strong> would step in as a last minute replacement, but the source went on to state:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Starr can definitely belt out the Crue songs damn well, but nobody knows who the hell he is.<\/em> Immediate discussion began among Nikki, Tommy and Mick, once they saw Vince attempting to work out at the mandatory band training sessions that were agreed upon with the tour organizers.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Corabi was a member of M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong>, once the band parted ways with lead singer Vince Neil<\/a> back in February 1992.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corabi was hired as his replacement and became an instant fan favorite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the “Merry Go Round” continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How bad of shape is Vince in currently? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Let me put it this way. If you were to take Sam Kinison before he died and tried to squeeze him into one of your teenage brother’s outfits, you can imagine how silly that looks, <\/em>admitted the source. <\/em>“Well, Vince actually would look even more silly than that because he is much bigger today than Kinison ever was.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Stadium Tour”<\/strong> is slated to kick off on June 21 in San Antonio, Texas and will include newly announced gigs in Kansas City, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Nashville, Cincinnati and Cleveland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trek marks CR\u00dcE<\/strong>‘s first live dates since wrapping its 2014\/2015 farewell tour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boys toured with POISON<\/strong> back in 2011 and DEF LEPPARD<\/strong> teamed up with POISON<\/strong> for a string of road dates in 2017 \u2014 but the upcoming trek marks the first time all four acts have hit the road together for an extended tour. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
