Symphonic power metal band RAVENWORD<\/strong> has just unleashed ‘BLUE ROSES’, <\/strong>second single off their one-time studio album ‘Transcendence’<\/em><\/strong>, coming out on January 31, 2020 via Rockshots Records.<\/strong>

Inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe<\/em>\u2019s novel ‘The Raven’<\/em>, the Milan, Italy, based band was originally formed in 2007 by the mind of keyboardist and composer Davide Scuteri <\/strong>(Choirs Of Veritas). After several years of activity, which included a self-titled demo, the band went on a brief hiatus, re-grouping in 2016 when singer Chiara Tricarico<\/strong> (Sound Storm, Moonlight Haze<\/em>), drummer Michele Olmi <\/strong>(Chronosfear, Skeletoon<\/em>) and bass\/guitar player Cesare Ferrari<\/strong> (Choirs Of Veritas) joined the band, in order to create a one-time studio album that embodies the whole history of the band. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With ‘Transcendence’<\/em><\/strong>, RAVENWORD<\/strong> captures the romantic and decadent poetic themes typical of Edgar Allan Poe\u2019s period, combined with an equally decadent symphonic metal sound. In line with RAVENWORD<\/strong>\u2019s ode to poetry, the title ‘Transcendence’<\/em><\/strong> was chosen to symbolize the idea of always going beyond one\u2019s perception of reality and seeking deeper meanings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
