BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA<\/strong> is the brand new cooperation between the almighty Bolverk (guitarist from Ragnarok), Paul Speckmann (Master’s bassist and leader) and Henning Haugen from Befouled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EP<\/strong>, called “Beard Out of Hell,”<\/a><\/strong> has been licensed exclusively by Wormholedeath<\/strong> and it is the beginning of one of the most interesting metal project of the last years! Beside the title track, fans will also enjoy a very unique version of\u00a0 David Bowie’s hit “Ziggy Stardust”!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The finest Black metal and death metal are now combined in 2 tracks of pure and explosive Death\u2019n Roll!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

STATEMENT<\/strong>
Bolverk (Ragnarok\/Under the Oak\/Welcome to Hell\/Blunt Force Trauma)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The story of this song begins back in 2015. I have been a Master fan since the beginning and they are still one of those bands delivering something real, true and honest every time they release an album or play a show. In 2015 we were on tour with Master with Images of Twilight, and one evening we had a slight encounter with Dr. Daniels. I said to Paul: \u201cYou need a song called Beard Out of Hell\u201d. He answered in his growling tone of voice: \u201cYeah, yeah\u2026you write it, I sing it\u201d. This could have ended here as so many other inspired ideas that turn up on the road, but the chorus came to me there and then, and about a year later the song was finished. An old friend of mine, Henning (Befouled) did the drums and the mix and Paul did the vocals from abroad. It\u2019s diry, mean and far from perfect, but it\u2019s the truth\u2026we all have beards out of hell (he, he\u2026yeah, that was a bad one). In addition, we also did a cover of Bowie\u2019s \u201cZiggy Stardust\u201d. I think it\u2019s a great song and I always wanted to do a metal version of it. Paul said: \u201cHope you like the vocals on this one, because I made it very extreme\u201d \u2026and believe me, I won\u2019t divulge anything, you have to listen for yourself, but you\u2019ve never heard Paul like this and the vocals turned out very impressive indeed.”<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
