The <strong>Jessy Fuchs<\/strong>-directed video for new song &#8220;Snake in the Grass&#8221; can be viewed above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">Vocalist Alex Erian comments: &#8220;Stoked to share more new music with you all. Here&#8217;s the slammiest track off our new record. Bringing back the pig squeals! Purgatoreeeeee is out next month!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">\nCanadian deathcore pioneers DESPISED ICON are back to reveal their 6th full length album: \u00bbPurgatory.\u00ab Not a theological band by any means, \u00bbPurgatory\u00ab\n is meant to represent the mortal experience of being trapped in a \nsuffering state and left to brood; stuck in notions of great loss and \npermanent scars that will ultimately define you. It is from these \nincidents that humans grow. \u201cIt\u2019s about taking the right, and necessary steps to better yourself and fix the things that are going wrong,\u201d explains vocalist Alex Erian. \u201cTransitioning from a state of constant negativity into something more constructive or healthy.
