Brazilian progressive metal band VIKRAM<\/strong>\u00a0have unleashed the new Video ‘Requiem for Salem<\/strong>‘<\/em>, taken from the forthcoming debut album “BEHIND THE MASK – Part\u00a0I”<\/strong>\u00a0to be released on October\u00a025, 2019 via Rockshots Records<\/strong>.

‘Requiem for Salem’<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>is an epic dark song with neoclassical influences about the persecution of inquisition against\u00a0witches and witchcraft, which led to many senseless and brutal killings.

The album “BEHIND THE MASK – Part I”<\/strong> is about the story of Natan Frost, born in Salem, whose\u00a0mother was murdered by the inquisition.\u00a0In his thirst for revenge, Natan was cursed with immortality by a mysterious mask.

\nWith influences that range from progressive metal to folk and ethnic, their music can be described as ‘Oriental Progressive Metal’<\/em>. The project is idealized by Tiago Della Vega<\/strong>, known for the Guinness Book title of world’s fastest guitarist and his appearances on some tv shows all over the world.
