Listen &#8220;The Thousand Masks&#8221; above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">Necronomicon vocalist Rob the Witch comments: &#8220;This single is different from the others not only in the tempo, speed and groove, but it also directly goes back to the &#8216;Pharaoh of Gods&#8217;-era and is the third chapter of the song from 1999. It is the first track that we composed for our new album and one of my favorites because of its ambiance and feeling.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">\nNECRONOMICON have a well-earned \nreputation for quality by releasing material only when ready and \nsatisfied with the outcome ever since their demo entitled &#8220;Morbid \nRitual&#8221; (1992) firmly established their name within the underground. \n&#8220;The Silver Key&#8221; EP (1996) led to mainstream recognition on a national \nlevel, but their debut album &#8220;Pharaoh Of Gods&#8221; (1999) and the sophomore \n&#8220;The Sacred Medicines&#8221; (2003) did even more to establish the band as a \nhousehold name in Canada. &#8220;Return Of The Witch&#8221; (2010) marked the \ninternational break-through for NECRONOMICON, and saw them performing at\n prestigious festivals such as Inferno (Norway), Ragnarok (Germany), and\n the Barge To Hell metal cruise among others, while sharing stages with \nacts such as CRADLE OF FILTH, DIMMU BORGIR, BEHEMOTH, and MORBID ANGEL, \nto name but a few. Their steady advance around the globe grew \nconsiderably in impact by their next full-length &#8220;Rise Of The Elder \nOnes&#8221; (2013).
