Musically they live somewhere between 80&#8217;s SoCal deathrock &amp; English post-punk, while creating a sound that&#8217;s all their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">Members Derek Jennings(vocals\/guitar), Oscar Estrada(bass), John Crerar (drums) have been friends for years, cutting their teeth touring in bands like <strong>Catholic Spit, The Fucking Wrath, &amp; The Return<\/strong>. The guys had been playing together for a couple of years as <strong>MA\u00e4SK<\/strong>, but when a few members moved away (including Thomas from <strong>Strike Anywhere<\/strong>), a new band was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">After recording DETOXI\u2019s debut EP \u201cDeath Of A Nation\u201d they added the synthesizing styles of Matt Barks (<strong>Ancestors<\/strong>), bringing their unique style to new levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">DETOXI&#8217;s first show was in May of 2018 opening for UK punk legends <strong>Subhumans<\/strong>.
