Whitechapel has been a staple in the Deathcore genre since the release of their first album, “The Somatic Defilement” (2007). Through crushing riffs, heavy breakdowns, and vocalist Phil Bozeman’s unique style of fast paced, low growl vocals and emotionally cathartic and disturbing lyrics has gathered\u00a0Whitechapel a diehard fanbase around the world. They have not only helped transform the Deathcore general but have made it into the Death Metal world, touring with legendary bands like Dying Fetus, Cannibal Corpse, and The Black Dahlia Murder. They have also gained some mainstream underground Metal support with play on stations such as SirusXM Octance and Liquid Metal.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
