Italian melodic death metallers\u00a05RAND<\/strong> premiere their highly anticipated\u00a0second studio full-length album, “Dark Mother”<\/strong>, online HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Dark Mother”<\/strong>\u00a0is set for a release on 6th September 2019<\/strong> with powerhouse label Time To Kill Records<\/strong>.

The single “Black Ocean”<\/strong> is streaming at Metal Underground<\/strong> HERE<\/a><\/strong>, while the official\u00a0video for the\u00a0“Old Angel Midnight”<\/strong> is still available via Pure Grain Audio<\/strong><\/a>.

“Dark Mother”<\/strong> has been produced by longtime collaborator\u00a0Marco Mastrobuono (FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, HOUR OF PENANCE)<\/strong> at\u00a0Kick Recording Studio <\/strong>and\u00a0Bloom Recording Studios<\/strong>, while mastering has been handled by famous Swedish producer\u00a0Jens Bogren (KREATOR, KATATONIA, AMORPHIS) <\/strong>at\u00a0Fascination Street Studios<\/strong>. The\u00a0epic\u00a0album\u00a0artwork has been designed by the talented Hans Trasid<\/strong> with layout by Roberto Toderico (SODOM, ASPHYX, PESTILENCE)<\/strong>.

“Dark Mother” <\/strong>shows the band staying true to their diverse and catchy style, taking elements from melodic death metal and industrial throughout the\u00a0album’s 11 tracks. The song\u00a0“Silent Spring”<\/strong>\u00a0features arrangements by\u00a0Francesco Ferrini<\/strong>, keyboardist and songwriter of\u00a0FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE<\/strong>.

Bio:

5RAND <\/strong>is a metal band from Italy: their sound combines Julia Elenoir<\/strong>‘s clean and growling vocals, melodic, ethereal elements and the aggressive riffing of extreme metal, evoking a dark, disturbing violent, and yet captivating, atmosphere, often conjuring comparisons to acts such as Slipknot, Fear Factory and Dark Tranquillity.

Following on the heels of the widely hailed debut album \u201cSacred\/Scared\u201d <\/strong>(2017), 5RAND <\/strong>toured Italy and Europe supporting Vader and Immolation and openened for bands such as Behemoth and Sepultura in several occasions. In 2018 the band toured Europe supporting Dark Tranquillity and Equilibrium and played many more headlining shows all over Italy.

The second album “Dark Mother”<\/strong> will be released worldwide on 6th September 2019 <\/strong>via\u00a0Time To Kill Records<\/strong>. The release will be once again followed by an intense live activity.
