Today international anarchist black metal act TRESPASSER<\/strong> partnered with heavily trafficked web-portal Cvlt Nation<\/strong> to premiere the official “Hunted Like Wolves”<\/strong> lyric video. The song hails from the band’s debut album, \u201c\u0427\u041e\u041c\u0423 \u041d\u0415 \u0412\u0418\u0419\u0428\u041b\u041e?\u201d<\/strong>, out now via Heavenly Vault Records<\/strong>. The record displays a whirlwind of spellbinding melody and cascading violence, all tethered to thoughtfully dynamic songwriting.

The band recently recruited \u041b\u0435\u043e\u043f\u043e\u043b\u044c\u0434<\/strong> on drums,\u00a0Upi\u00f3r<\/strong> on bass and Gy\u00f0a Hrund <\/strong>on guitar. With this line-up TRESPASSER<\/strong> will hit the road for the first time in September.

TRESPASSER<\/strong> was formed by XVI<\/strong> to balance the right wing tendencies in the black metal sphere. Being repulsed by the fascistoid views held by the bands he worshipped, and remaining unimpressed with outspoken left-wing bands lack of brutality and musical skill, \u00a0he set out to create the record helonged to hear but had given up hope to find in the record stores. Brutal and relentless anarchist blast-beat mayhem. After recruiting Dr\u00e4parn<\/strong> on vocals they hit the studio.\u00a0The result is TRESPASSER<\/strong>‘s\u00a0debut LP \u201c\u0427\u041e\u041c\u0423 \u041d\u0415 \u0412\u0418\u0419\u0428\u041b\u041e?\u201d<\/strong>.\u00a0

This is a seven song opus dealing with the history of anarchism. Although centered around Ukraine’s Nestor Makhno and the Makhnovshchina,\u00a0inspiration has been found in a wider context of anarchist literature, songs and culture.\u00a0

“Let me be clear. This is not black metal. It’s everything black metal is not. It’s un-orthodox, non-magickal, un-true and un-cult. This is political music and these are anarchist anthems. It is materialist and anti-fascist music. I do acknowledge the connection between religion and politics, but I puke on black metals self-centered ego-worshipping and quasi-spiritual rituals. Liberation and emancipation lies not in individualist neo-spiritualist introspection. It lies, like always, in organisation”.<\/em>
