The band&#8217;s debut album, &#8220;Time Insults The Mind&#8221;, will be reissued this fall, to be followed by the release of BLACK ANVIL&#8217;s second full-length effort sometime next year.<\/p>\n<p>BLACK ANVIL&#8217;s Delaney commented: &#8220;Relapse&#8217;s interest in us and our respect for them proves none of that style shit should matter. We&#8217;re here to bring a malicious record to the table for you all. We currently have four songs demoed and they&#8217;re so dangerous sounding.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>BLACK ANVIL will perform this weekend as part of the Pitchfork Media-presented &#8220;Show No Mercy&#8221; monthly metal series in Brooklyn with Virginia&#8217;s SALOME, Philadelphia&#8217;s WOE and SNAKE SUSTAINE.
