Frontman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/vince-neil\/\">Vince Neil<\/a> shared the news with an effusively excited, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/thevinceneil\/status\/1069370874095067136\" target=\"_blank\">exclamation-point\u2013studded tweet<\/a>: \u201cWow!!! Just left Netflix offices. Just saw <em>The Dirt<\/em> movie!! Fuckin\u2019 awesome!! Can\u2019t wait for everyone to see it! Released March 22!! Yea!!!\u201d A representative for Netflix confirmed the date to\u00a0<em>Rolling Stone.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">The band released <em>The Dirt: Confessions of the World\u2019s Most Notorious Rock Band<\/em>, co-written by Neil Strauss, in 2001. It contains some of the grittiest, raunchiest, supposedly true stories recorded, with scenes depicting the abuse of drugs, alcohol and groupies as the \u201cShout at the Devil\u201d rockers somehow survived the Eighties and a low commercial period in the Nineties. Plans for a film version have been in the works since 2006, originally with <em>Seinfeld <\/em>writer Larry Charles slated to direct. Filmmaker Jeff Tremaine (<em>Bad Grandpa<\/em>, <em>Jackass<\/em>) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/bad-grandpa-director-to-helm-motley-crue-biopic-dirt-248389\/\">signed on in 2013<\/a> and helmed the shooting of the film, produced by the band, earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Check out the official audio for &#8216;Like A Virgin&#8217; by MOTLEY CRUE.
