MEGADETH<\/strong> have partnered with publisher Heavy Metal<\/strong> to create a new graphic novel celebrating the band\u2019s 35th anniversary. The 350-page anthology fleshes out stories inspired by each of the songs on Megadeth<\/strong>\u2018s forthcoming greatest hits collection, \u201cWarheads On Foreheads<\/strong>\u201c, which is due out on March 22nd. Numerous writers and artists were hired on for the project, here\u2019s the rundown:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Megadeth<\/strong> vocalist\/guitarist Dave Mustaine<\/strong> commented of the project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have always fantasized about Megadeth<\/strong> doing something this gloriously electrifying and gruesome. I hope everyone will enjoy the graphic novel as much as I enjoyed working with Heavy Metal<\/strong> to put it together for you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavy Metal<\/strong> CEO Jeff Krelitz<\/strong> added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSince I was old enough to buy records, Megadeth<\/strong> has been one of my favorite bands, not only for the great storytelling in the music, but the world building imagery on the album covers. This opportunity to meld the two world together and tell stories inspired by their songs is a privilege that we are excited to present to the fans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book will be presented in a 12.25\u2033x12.25\u2033 prestige album format and four different collector\u2019s editions are planned:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
