The group were joined onstage that night by <strong>Avi Vinocur<\/strong> on mandolin\/backing vocals, <strong>David Phillips<\/strong> on pedal steel, <strong>Henry Salvia<\/strong> on keyboards and <strong>Cody Rhodes<\/strong> on guest percussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">That show served as a benefit for <strong>Metallica<\/strong>\u2018s own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allwithinmyhands.org\/\">All Within My Hands charity<\/a> and raised $1.3 million for it along with an accompanying auction. The entire set saw a release on vinyl today, February 01st, as \u201c<strong>Helping Hands\u2026Live &amp; Acoustic at The Masonic<\/strong>\u201c. All proceeds from the album will go towards the band\u2019s aforementioned charity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">Formed in 1981 by drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, Metallica have become one of the most influential and commercially successful rock bands in history, having sold 100 million albums worldwide and playing to millions of fans the world over.
