\nDevin Townsend continues to push ahead with the recording sessions for his new releases and shared a clip seen HERE<\/a> of what appears to be a track from the first of those efforts due for a release: \u201cEmpath\u201c. While that album is expected out in 2019, December will bring some more Townsend music to vinyl with the third wave of the ongoing \u2018Eras\u2018 vinyl box set reissues due to arrive on December 07th.

\n\u201cAccelerated Evolution\u201c, \u201cEpicloud\u201c, \u201cSky Blue\u201c, \u201cTranscendence\u201d and \u201cDevin Townsend Presents: Ziltoid Live At The Royal Albert Hall\u201d will be among that wave.

\nOver the course of Devin Townsend\u2019s storied career, a single constant has persevered: change. As far back as Steve Vai\u2019s Sex & Religion, which Townsend fronted, to 2001\u2019s landmark full-length Terria to the multi-instrumentalist\u2019s country rock outfit Casualties of Cool to his stunning new album Transcendence, the Canadian isn\u2019t too interested in keeping an even musical keel. To stay the proverbial course is, well, anathema. For certain, he\u2019s far too impatient to write the same Strapping Young Lad song over and over\u2014which is why he folded the band in 2007\u2014and it\u2019s likely there will never be a fourth or fifth Ziltoid album (a third if we\u2019re lucky) because by that point he\u2019ll be in a totally different frame of mind for galactic puppets gone awry.
