\nARMORED SAINT will be performing their 1991 album \u201cSymbol Of Salvation\u201d in full on their July U.S. tour. A number of shows on the run will be recorded for a future live DVD while Act Of Defiance (ex-Megadeth, etc.) will open the dates. Armored Saint vocalist John Bush commented:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2018Symbol Of Salvation\u2018! Arguably Armored Saint\u2018s most important record. These songs came out of us being dropped from Chrysalis Records and finding out about guitarist Dave Prichard developing Leukemia. The songs took on a much more emotional meaning than any other previous record.<\/p>\n
We wrote songs of desperation like \u2018Another Day\u2018 and \u2018Last Train Home,\u2019 experimental tunes like \u2018Tainted Past\u2018 and \u2018The Truth Always Hurts,\u2019 and classic Saint rockers like \u2018Reign Of Fire\u201d \u2018Dropping Like Flies,\u2019 and the title track. After Dave passed, the band regrouped with Phil and Jeff returning as the guitar tandem. It was a family again.<\/p>\n
Dave Jerden produced the record and this marked the beginning of Joey becoming the producer of the band. It\u2019s going to be a memorable tour. Songs like \u2018Burning Question\u2018 and \u2018Spineless\u2018 we\u2019ve never played live before. Come share it with us.
