\nCelebrating their love of interpreting the music of fellow legends and giving it a thorough ‘Mot\u00f6rheading’, MOT\u00d6RHEAD recently announced the release of their upcoming covers compilation album, Under C\u00f6ver, a collection of some of their best covers.<\/p>\n

Today, Mot\u00f6rhead have released a never-before-heard cover and music video of David Bowie’s timeless classic, “Heroes”. The music video features massive performance footage and heartwarming behind the scenes images and video of the band. Recorded during the Bad Magic sessions in 2015 by Cameron Webb, “Heroes” was one of the last songs Mot\u00f6rhead recorded together. The clip can be seen below.<\/p>\n

“It’s such a great Bowie song, one of his best, and I could only see great things coming out of it from us, and so it proved to be,” says Phil Campbell, “and Lemmy ended up loving our version.”<\/p>\n

“He was very, very proud of it,” says Mikkey Dee, “not only because it turned out so well but because it was fun! Which is what projects like this should be – fun!”
