\nTo celebrate the reunion of OZZY OSBOURNE and ZAKK WYLDE, TMD’s Randy “Rocket” Cody has remixed a new version of a timeless classic: “No More Tears”. This alternate guitar take by ZAKK WYLDE is pulled from TMD’s vault and is a much more blazing performance on the six strings than the original studio song that must be heard to be believed! <\/p>\n

This is the longest studio song recorded in Ozzy’s legendary solo career.<\/em><\/p>\n

In the 2002 remaster booklet for the No More Tears album, Ozzy stated for the record that the song was about a serial killer. LISTEN BELOW!!<\/strong>

“This song is pretty much one of my all time favorites in metal history. I remember first hearing
\nit played on the radio when I was working as a carpet cleaner in the San Fernando Valley in California when I was 21, and I was so blown away… and honestly, I still love hearing the track to this very day. Let’s just say it has become an old friend that I like to visit from time to time. <\/p>\n

I am so excited that Ozzy and Zakk are back together once again! This reinterpretation of “No More Tears” is my way of saluting one of the greatest duos in rock history!! I was able to use the original bass and drum tracks from the studio version with Bob Daisley and the late great Randy Castillo. I was not able to find Ozzy’s isolated vocal stem to include in my mix, so I provided the vocals myself. <\/p>\n

The “horror” effects included were added to give the tune a much more chilling feel, going deeper into the ‘murderous’ aspect of the lyrics. I want the song to feel like you are actually watching a scary movie alone at night as a woman fights for her life, crying and screaming before she is to be killed by ‘The Man In The Dark’. The lyrics do not include the second verse, only the first verse is sung repeated twice with the classic chorus only modified very slightly.”
