\nJust when you think the METALLIGA debacle was over… it comes back into your life like an uninvited relative! Guitarist Kirk Hammett, while bandmate James Hetfield stated for the record <\/a>recently that he’s not interested in another future collaboration with pop diva Lady Gaga, despite the report <\/a>that floated around saying Lars Ulrich invited her to be their 5th member as co-lead singer after the disastrous Grammys performance where James’ mic was sabotaged and would not work for the first quarter of the song while in front of a TV audience of 26 million, was interviewed by Brazilian radio station “89FM A R\u00e1dio Rock” before their concert on Lollapalooza Brazil and made his feelings on the matter clear. Here’s part of the discussion:

\nIs the world really ready for more METALLIGA?<\/strong>

\n“And that impressed us because there\u2019s been situations where it\u2019s been like that and we\u2019ve been, \u2018Ugh, how\u2019s this gonna work? Should we just bail on it?\u2019 But with Lady Gaga, the minute she walked in \u2013 it was really cool. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s gonna happen in the future, I think it\u2019s a bit of a stretch for us to say, \u2018Yeah, we\u2019re gonna do something in the future!”

\n“Maybe we will<\/strong>… maybe we won\u2019t. But we kind of have a lot on our plate right now.”
