\nAs if there’s not enough anger and bloodshed in the world, a growing feud amid some very famous rock stars has been raging online for the past several days. Legendary M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE bassist Nikki Sixx has called Gene Simmons of KISS band an “overrated, lucky guy that dresses like a clown” after the KISS co-founder made some really stupid statements about the death of Prince, saying “His drugs killed him. What do you think, he died from a cold?” (Prince\u2019s body was found with prescription painkillers in his possession; however, his longtime lawyer has denied the musician was \u201cdrugged up\u201d.)

\nNow the KISS army is pissed. Even Paul Stanley has come to Gene’s defense, like the good life partner that he is. The Starchild posted a Facebook rant in response to Sixx that reads:

\n“Would you please shut up, find another way to be in the news and get off your self inflated pedestal,\u201d Stanley wrote. Stanley noted that even he took issue with the comments Simmons made about Prince, but \u201chis influence on musicians (you included) is undeniable and will continue.\u201d<\/p>\n
Paul added, \u201cMore importantly, [Simmons\u2019] work, generosity and monetary contributions to numerous causes and charities for those less fortunate makes your ongoing rant, in the scheme of things, the unimportant but annoying squeak it truly is. \nNikki Sixx made it clear to WNOR FM99 why he’s at war with The Demon: \u201cGene Simmons taking swipes at Prince without actually having the information is what I said #FromHeroToZero. We have no respect for Gene Simmons anymore; nobody in rock does. And I\u2019m not gonna sit back quietly as a person [and] allow a bully to go out there and put down people he doesn\u2019t know anything about.\u201d
