\nProgPower USA promoters Glenn Harveston, Milton Mendonca and Nathan Block have announced that U.K. power metal act DRAGONFORCE has been named the headline act for Day 1 of ProgPower USA XVII on Wednesday, September 7, 2015. The band joins previously announced Day 1 acts: Lord, Stream of Passion and Spock’s Beard<\/p>\n
As for Day 2 (Thursday, September 8, 2016), Pyramaze, Gloryhammer and Circus Maximus were previously announced.<\/p>\n
The final headline slot – Glenn Harveston’s pick for Day 2 (Thursday, September 7, 2015) – will be revealed on November 30th. Tickets for Days 1\/2 will be available on December 4, 2015.<\/p>\n

In 2016, ProgPower USA from the old “Midweek Mayhem” (Wed) and “Kick Off Show” (Thursday) model to the new ProgPower Days 1-4 format with Wednesday (Day 1), a joint promotion of Mendonca\/Block, and Thursday (Day 2) showcasing one band picked by each of the promoters along with the “People’s Choice.” All four days will now be held at Center’s Stage’s main venue.<\/p>\n
The lineup for Days 3-4 (September 9-10, 2016) was announced the Friday of this past ProgPower USA XVI following Anathema’s performance (see information at this location<\/a>).
