\nTWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider stopped by Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) headquarters to conclude a worldwide agreement for UMPG to acquire his Snidest Music music publishing catalog of 69 songs, including the classic Twisted Sister rock anthems \u201cWe\u2019re Not Gonna Take It\u201d and \u201cI Wanna Rock\u201d, reports RadioFacts.com.<\/p>\n
UMPG previously administered the copyrights in the US and Canada. The songs in the catalog have been featured in numerous national commercials, films, television and the popular Broadway musical, Rock Of Ages, which currently has residency at the Venetian Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
Twisted Sister have confirmed reports that the first show of their 40 & Fuck It farewell tour will take place at the Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium next June.<\/p>\n
Festival organizers have issued the following update: “After more than four decades, Twisted Sister is bowing out with a blistering farewell tour: Forty And Fuck It! Twisted Sister will close the 21st edition of Graspop Metal Meeting on Sunday, June 19th on Mainstage 2. Don’t miss this!”<\/p>\n
On March 20th, Twisted Sister drummer A.J. Pero passed away from a massive heart attack, which was the catalyst for the band to launch a farewell tour. Drum legend Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs) will be on board for the tour.
