\nCanada’s DEFORMATORY are set to release their second full-length album via CDN Records in December. Entitled Malediction, the eight-track relentless follow-up to In The Wake Of Pestilence was recorded, mixed and engineered by Dan Rogers at From The Frost Audio in Ottawa, Ontario, and takes their hate-filled sound to an entirely new and dark dimension. Malediction delivers a fresh approach to the band\u2019s sound, and the entire brutal technical death metal genre as a whole.<\/p>\n
Malediction is the first instalment in a series of concept albums revolving around Sav\u00e4el, the creator of Darkness, and the original source of pure evil. In Malediction, the story follows the discovery of the sacred incantation text, his re-awakening, and the subsequent obliteration of the Light, the Heavens, and all remnants of humanity. This is an album that will appeal to the nostalgia of old school death metal, delivered with modern, dark, and technical ferocity.<\/p>\n
Malediction will carry listeners on an aphotic expedition through forbidden depths of evil, and into a new awakening of inhumanity.<\/p>\n
