\nYou know shit is getting real y’all when someone breaks out the “Stage Duel” card! Hey, don’t leave home without it is what we always say here at TMD. Yes, it’s a twisted clusterfuck of news without a kiss. A rock star feud to end them all has erupted between Dee Snider and Paul Stanley. Snider responded to comments made by the elderly KISS crooner in a recent interview on Chris Jericho’s podcast… going on the record to state that Dee was a “Wannabe” and his band a bunch of “buffoons”. It all started when Snider made it clear he thinks the new version of KISS is a joke and a sham for using an imposter Catman and Space Ace. Here’s Captain Howdy, er… Dee’s classic response:

\nFirst off, thanks for giving me the attention I\u2014as you noted– so desperately wanted. Now, I\u2019ve always had nothing but respect for your band, and you as a performer, but it really comes as no surprise that the feeling isn\u2019t mutual. For some reason you are oddly threatened by me. This said, your recent comments about my band and I on Chris Jericho\u2019s podcast was a typical diversionary tactic used in an attempt to change the subject, rather than answer the actual accusation or question. It\u2019s the oldest interviewing trick in the book. As far as my \u201cwhole band being a bunch of buffoons\u201d goes, that\u2019s a pretty ironic statement coming from you. The argument could easily be made that Kiss is the \u201cking of the buffoons\u201d, so in an odd way you\u2019ve paid Twisted Sister quite a compliment. It takes one to know one.

\nLastly, on the subject of me being a \u201cwannabe\u201d? Do you really think so? Well then\u2026any time, any stage. But let\u2019s do this old school \u2013no costumes, no pyro, no bullshit \u2013 let\u2019s just get up there and rock. I will bury you, son.
