\nANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante spoke with Examiner.com about the upcoming 30th anniversary of the bands 1985 album, \u201cSpreading The Disease\u201c. He told Examiner.com:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2026I\u2019ve been working on this other project where I\u2019m doing the Spreading The Disease 30th Anniversary thing, where I\u2019m putting a bunch of bonus material on the second disc. It\u2019s going to be really good.\u201d
\nDon\u2019t expect any full-fledged anniversary touring behind it though, as Benante said:<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s not talk about playing the whole record out on tour, but this show next week may have a touch of that.\u201d
\nIf all goes according to plan, the 30th anniversary edition of the album should land around the fall, as it will hit its milestone on October 30th, which thanks to the new Friday release date schedule, makes it a potential release day. Benante also spoke of the bands forthcoming eleventh studio album, which they have been picking away at throughout the year across multiple recording sessions:<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s sounding like Anthrax. The songs that were heavy on the last record are heavy on this one, the songs that were fast on the last record are faster on this one. So it\u2019s definitely moving in that direction. For some reason it just flowed. The songs, and the amount of them, just flowed. I think it was because I was inspired by the last record, and the success of the last record. \nAn early 2016 release is planned for that to accommodate the aforementioned \u201cSpreading The Disease\u201d anniversary release.
