\nKRIEG will perform at The Acheron in Brooklyn this weekend as the band and its leader, Neill Jameson, continues to push their latest album, Transient. Pitchfork asserts, \u201cTransient is a claustrophobic listen that provides the illusion of walls closing in and ceilings coming down, even as its sound opens wider.\u201d Stereogum notes, \u201cTransient is one of the finest USBM offerings of 2014, and a breakthrough for Krieg.\u201d Released early September, Transient ended a four-year hiatus for the band. Decibel Magazine premiered the first official video by the band on the album\u2019s release date for the song \u201cRuin Our Lives;\u201d a visual hell-fest of fast-tracked cinematic images. Static Sessions, a collaborative music video project by the team of Nic Justice and CJ Blair, today has posted \u201cReturn Fire\u201d (http:\/\/bit.ly\/1EJEx5A<\/a>) to their Facebook stream; the sessions recorded in Philadelphia last autumn at Drowning Fish Studios.<\/p>\n
