\nKATAKLYSM’s new album has been written and is coming along nicely. The group offered the following update on that this weekend:

\n\u201cALBUM UPDATE: Kataklysm completes writing of the new album and enters pre production mode , 9 new blistering songs are ready to be recorded , new album title coming January 2nd 12 pm EST , Its the first thing we want you to remember when 2015 arrives \\m\/

\nThe album will be recorded in early 2015 with guitarist J-F Dagenais ( Misery Index , Malevolent Creation , Despised Icon ) , additional engineering will be handled by Mark Lewis ( Devildriver , White Chapel , Cannibal Corpse ) at Audiohammer studios in Florida and mix ,mastering will be handled by none other then Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Testament, Killswitch Engage) in the UK\u201d We have achieve the album we always wanted to make , it has everything that made this band what it is and also explores a new groundbreaking intensity and melodic warfare , new arrangements , new blood we haven\u2019t achieved before , it\u2019s a dramatic album with the power to choke a dinosaur , Im very proud of this one \u201d \u2013 J-F Dagenais\u201c
