\nThe first annual Mot\u00f6rhead Mot\u00f6rboat – featuring Megadeth, Mot\u00f6rhead, and Anthrax – will sail from Miami, visiting the ports of Key West, Florida and Cozumel just off Mexico\u2019s Yucatan Peninsula for the September 22nd – 26th, 2014 cruise on the Carnival Ecstasy.<\/p>\n
The fest will also include Testament, Down, High On Fire, plus Kill Devil Hill, Zakk Wylde, Jim Breuer Band, Danko Jones, Fireball Ministry, and Wilson. While onboard, guests will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact with band members and will see unforgettable performances on various stages throughout the ship.<\/p>\n
A limited number of cabins are still available for Mot\u00f6rhead\u2019s Mot\u00f6rboat at this location<\/a>.<\/p>\n Additional onboard performances and activities have been announced for Mot\u00f6rhead\u2019s Mot\u00f6rboat, including a spoken word performance by heavy metal musician, author, and television personality Scott Ian.<\/p>\n Scott\u2019s spoken word performances in support of his upcoming “Swearing Words In Glasgow” CD (out November 13th via Megaforce Records) are an honest look at the insane life that he has led for the last 31 years, the people he\u2019s met, and the events that coincide. After decades-worth of international touring with Anthrax, bumping elbows with illustrious (and sometimes ridiculous) characters all over the media spectrum, and undergoing general \u201cyou won\u2019t believe this\u201d experiences, Scott certainly has some hilarious and surprisingly personal stories to share.<\/p>\n Those onboard Mot\u00f6rhead\u2019s Mot\u00f6rboat will also be treated to a screening of the 2010 documentary film “Lemmy,” directed by Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski. Guests are encouraged to be proud of where they come from. Wear a state jersey, don your Nordic horns, paint your face and show your city\/state\/country pride.<\/p>\n Tuesday, September 23 — Pajamarama<\/p>\n \u201cRock on out in your jammies!\u201d It\u2019s the biggest slumber party on the open seas. We know some people like to sleep in the buff, so remember that you have to wear something, even if it\u2019s minimal. And who knows, there might even be the biggest pillow fight of all time?<\/p>\n Wednesday, September 24 — Fiesta En Barco<\/p>\n Mot\u00f6rboat is going to Mexico and back. It\u2019s siesta and fiesta day! In the morning \u2013 sleep late. We don\u2019t get off the boat in Cozumel until 1pm. (There will be activities a’plenty in the morning \u2013 info on those will come later). When we get back, it\u2019s FIESTA all night \u2013 bring something from home, or pick up something new in Mexico \u2013 show off how you spent your day: sombreros, Mexican wrestling masks, donkeys, your tequila face, anything…<\/p>\n Thursday, September 25 — Go To Heaven, Raise Hell<\/p>\n This is our full day at sea! It\u2019s Heaven & Hell, Leather & Lace. It\u2019s the best of both worlds. Show us your good side or your naughty side.
