\nIt\u2019s time TMD announces the 10 bands that received the highest point totals among the online judges in the semi final round. Thanks again to all the participants in the \u2018Battle of Unsigned Thrash Metal\u2019 online contest! Good luck to the TOP 10 in the final round on July 7th!!<\/p>\n
Judging for the semi-final round was based on the most current studio recording and the finals are based on video of live performance. Here is the basic breakdown on exactly how the scoring process works:<\/p>\n
1st round (Semi-Finals)- Scoring for STUDIO RECORDING (1-10 point scale) is based on 3 separate criteria:<\/p>\n 1. Production Quality 1. Production Quality The overall top scoring band of both combined semi and Final rounds will be crowned winner of the online contest and receive a three month publicity deal with THE METAL DEN (Value $2,500). Prizes to be announced for the other top 5 finalists once the champion is crowned on July 7th!!!<\/p>\n
