\nToday is the day TMD announces the top 20 participants in the \u2018Battle of Unsigned Groove Metal Bands\u2019 online contest! Thanks to the hundreds of bands from all over the globe that submitted their music for consideration.<\/p>\n
Judging for the semi-final round will be based on the most current studio recording. The Judging panel will be announced shortly.<\/strong> The finals are based on video of live performance loaded to YouTube. Here is the basic breakdown on exactly how the scoring process works:<\/p>\n 1st round (Semi-Finals)- Scoring for STUDIO RECORDING<\/strong> (1-10 point scale) is based on 3 separate criteria:<\/p>\n 1. Production Quality 1. Production Quality The semi final round happens on April 25th, 2014 wherein the top 10 scores will be announced. The final round is on April 30th and the top 5 with the highest overall score total in both rounds from the judging panel will be announced.<\/p>\n The winner of the final round will receive a label representation deal with THE METAL DEN RECORDS <\/strong>(Value $3,000).
