\nWith NEW ENGLAND METAL & HARDCORE FESTIVAL 2014 in Worcester, Massachusetts is now less than a week away, running from Thursday, April 17th through Saturday the 19th, today a massive giveaway from one of the event’s main sponsors, Tama Drums, has been announced.

\nThe seven-piece Tama drum kit which will be used to back all performances on the main stage of NEW ENGLAND METAL & HARDCORE FESTIVAL XVI will be given away at the end of the event. Every ticket purchased in advance of the festival counts as an automatic chance to win the kit, boasting a retail value of $2700, including tickets previously purchased before the contest was in place.

\nWith sponsorships from Tama, Ibanez, New Noise Magazine, Monster Energy Drink, All In Merch and others, the sixteenth annual gathering of the iconic NEW ENGLAND METAL & HARDCORE FESTIVAL will once again feature two stages at the renowned Worcester Palladium for solid three days of havoc. The opening night of NEMHF XVI, Thursday, April 17th, will see headlining sets from Broken Hope, Oceano, Darkest Hour, the final East Coast show ever for Bleeding Through, Emmure and All That Remains. Day two, Friday, April 18th, will feature main acts Slapshot, The Acacia Strain, Carnifex, Whitechapel, 1349 and Behemoth as part of the massive Metal Alliance tour and more. And the final evening, Saturday, April 19th, will see sets from All Out War, a one-off show from Nails, Unearth, a special reunion set from Sam Black Church, Nile and the mighty Iced Earth along with many others dominating the stage.
