\nSPV\/Steamhammer will release the new BATTLEAXE album, Heavy Metal Sanctuary, next February. The band has released a video for the title track and can be seen HERE<\/a>.

\nHeavy Metal Sanctuary was recorded at Trinity Heights\/Pillarbox\/Sound Inc Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne England and was mixed and mastered by Fred Purser (ex-TYGERS OF PAN TANG).<\/p>\n
The current line-up consists of the original members Dave King (vocals) and Brian Smith (bass) as well as Mick Percy (guitar) and Paul AT Kinson (drums).<\/p>\n
In other news, Battleaxe\u2019s Burn This Town album was rereleased on November 22nd in Germany, November 25th in Europe, and will be rereleased on January 21st in North America.
