\nAs their second LP nears release, Danish metallers RISING have unchained another declaration of thunderous rifage from the raging beast that is Abominor this afternoon.

\nThe third of nine tracks on Abominor, and a hard stomping song recalling the old days of metal brought up to date by the fresh attack of RISING’s relentless and sludgy machinery, “Vengeance Is Timeless” kicks right off with one of the most driving, infectious, stomping beats on the album, only giving in for a second midway through for the guitars to build up to the explosive rock and roll surge and a brief but pungent solo. RISING isn’t a band reinventing the whole system, but their brutally infectious and overall roaring delivery hits with an invigorating energy and makes you realize you’re more than satisfied that.

Bursting with nearly forty minutes of high-octane metallic sludge, the Abominor experience presents a faster, more aggressive and gritty side to the RISING sound, incorporating punk and crust influences while remaining true to the heaviness and melodic sense that has been a trademark for RISING from the beginning. Abominor is confirmed for worldwide release on November 4th through guitarist Jacob Krogholt’s newly formed label Indisciplinarian. In addition to digital delivery, the album will also be released on vinyl as well, the pressing limited to 300 copies pressed on 180-gram black vinyl with a heavy inner sleeve.
