\nIt’s time TMD announces the 10 bands that received the highest point totals among the online judges in the first round of voting. Thanks again to all the participants in the first ‘Battle of Unsigned Thrash’ online contest! Good luck to the TOP 10 in the final round on July 25th!!

\nJudging for the Semi-Final round was based on the most current studio recording and the finals are based on video of live performance.<\/em> Here is the basic breakdown on exactly how the scoring process works:
\n
\n1st round (Semi-Finals)- Scoring for STUDIO RECORDING (1-10 point scale) is based on 3 separate criteria:
\n
\n1. Production Quality
\n2. Musicianship
\n3. Songwriting
\n
\n

\n2nd round (Finals) – Scoring for VIDEO OF LIVE PERFORMANCE (1-10) is based on 3 separate criteria:

\n1. Production Quality
\n2. Band Image
\n3. Public Response (page views)<\/strong>
\n
\nThe overall top scoring band of both combined Semi and Finals round will be crowned winner of the online contest and receive a label representation deal with THE METAL DEN RECORDS (Value $3,000).<\/strong> Prizes to be announced for the other top 5 finalists once the champion is crowned on July 25th!!!
