\nTHE SKULL, the new band formed by two original members of Chicago doom legends TROUBLE \u2014 vocalist Eric Wagner and drummer Jeff \u201cOly\u201d Olson \u2014 alongside the band\u2019s longtime bassist, Ron Holzner, has recruited guitarists Lothar Keller and Michael Carpenter of the Chicago, Illinois-based progressive power metal band SACRED DAWN. Glen Drover (MEGADETH, TESTAMENT, KING DIAMOND) will not join the band as the guest touring guitarist due to scheduling conflicts.<\/p>\n

Commented Wagner, Olson, and Holzner in a statement:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe welcome the twin guitar attack of Lothar Keller and Michael Carpenter from SACRED DAWN.<\/p>\n

Both guitarist have been playing together for many years and that\u2019s a big plus. We are excited to begin rehearsing for our upcoming shows!\u201d<\/p>\n

September 01 \u2013 SHoD (Stoner Hands of Doom) \u2013 New London, Connecticut \u2013 with RETRO GRAVE<\/p>\n

November 10th \u2013 Hammer of Doom Festival -W\u00fcrzburg, Germany<\/p>\n
