\n971TheBull.com was registered by Clear Channel on September 1 and is already redirecting to KEGL\u2019s website. A shift to Country for the struggling Rocker could be a preemptive strike against Cumulus. Once the merger with Citadel closes, Cumulus will own both Country outlets in the market: \u201c99.5 The Wolf\u201d KPLX and \u201cNew Country 96.3\u201d KSCS. With The Bull in place, Cumulus may reconsider replacing one of the Country stations with a format that could compete with one of Clear Channel\u2019s other stations in the market.

\nIn addition to 97.1 KEGL, Clear Channel also owns CHR \u201c106.1 Kiss-FM\u201d KHKS, Hot AC \u201cMix 102.9\u201d KDMX, Modern Rock \u201c102.1 The Edge\u201d KDGE, Classic Rock \u201cLonestar 92.5\u201d KZPS, and Talk \u201cDFW 1190\u201d KFXR in the Dallas\/Ft. Worth market.
