\nDen Headz, Norwegian progressive\/psychedelic black metal band ENSLAVED will be returning to North America this fall for a headlining tour marking the band\u2019s 20th anniversary of existence.

\n\u201cListen; the sun is setting, but I still see the twinkle! The support we\u2019ve been getting from North America throughout our latest releases and tours is unparalleled, and for that we are eternally grateful. It is therefore an undivided pleasure for us to announce that when autumn sets, we will be back to tour the U.S. and Canada; this time for a full headliner tour with a full headliner set. 2011 marks the 20th anniversary for ENSLAVED, so we will be underlining both the deep past and blazing present of our musical universe to celebrate. It is also with a sense of intense pride that we can present the bands that will be travelling with us for the tour: Ghost and Alcest. Yes, you read that right! I don\u2019t think I need to elaborate more on that; it will be a package for the books. See you then!\u201d

\nENSLAVED\u2019s latest masterpiece, Axioma Ethica Odini, won the 2010 Spellemann Award (the Norwegian equivalent of a U.S. Grammy Award) in the category \u201cBest Metal Album,\u201d won Terrorizer Magazine\u2019s Reader\u2019s Poll for \u201cBest Album of 2010,\u201d ranked #5 in Decibel Magazine\u2019s \u201cTop 40 Extreme Albums of 2010\u201d list, and appeared on over 65 \u201cBest Albums of 2010\u201d lists in North America, repeatedly ranking in the Top 10. In Germany, Metal Hammer Magazine awarded ENSLAVED the \u201cAlbum Of The Year\u201d title and the Dutch magazine Aardschok ranked Axioma Ethica Odini at #9.

\nAxioma Ethica Odini also debuted in North America at #16 on the Billboard Heatseekers (New Artists) chart, #40 in the Current Hard Music Albums chart, and #72 on the Independent Current Albums chart the week following its release.
