\nSome fans on Facebook are calling for a one-off reunion\/tribute concert or a series of US dates with the surviving members of disbanded Texas groove metal act PANTERA: vocalist Philip H. Anselmo, bassist Rex Brown and drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott. Despite the ongoing rumor in the press recently that fans wanted the band’s legendary former lead guitarist, Dimebag Darrell Abbott, who was killed on stage in Dec\/2004, replaced in a new Pantera band reformation, the Facebook Pantera Reunion Tour Cause <\/strong>wants to make it clear that they do not support the idea of replacing Dime<\/em>, for nobody could ever truly replace the late great guitar God. Honestly, who would ever suggest a thing like that?

\nAccording to the comments being left on the Facebook Pantera Reunion Tour Cause<\/strong> profile, a lot of fans feel former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde is the perfect choice for Dime’s guest “Fill-in” guitarist. What do you think? Or should there be more than one guest guitar player? TMD loves the idea of Zakk, along with maybe Kerry King of Slayer and say maybe Jerry Cantrell. The possibilities are endless!!

\n“Frank, I can’t applaud you enough for starting this cause based off an article I wrote about the idea of a Pantera reunion. You, the fans, HAVE A VOICE! You might think that your voice does not matter, but I am here to tell you that IT DOES. Without YOU, THE FAN, Pantera would have never had the success they did. The Heavy Metal world was singularly saved from its potential demise in the 90’s by Pantera, amid the grunge and rap takeover. Pantera means a whole lot more to the metal world because of this fact alone, and what it would mean to the FANS, one<\/em> or a handful of reunion shows that allows Philip, Vinnie and Rex a chance to bury the ‘ill will’ of the past and show the entire music world that ‘metal music’ is indeed stronger than all, and nothing, no murderer, politician, or dickhead mainstream critic can take that away from US! So stand tall on this matter, let’s get ‘arm in arm’ for brother Dime and kick this cause into a higher gear!!”
