\nDen Headz, amid all the swirling rumors of BLACK SABBATH and LED ZEPPELIN possibly reuniting in the near future, legendary bassist Duff McKagan joined the new version of GUNS N’ ROSES on stage Thursday night, Oct. 14, launching into several GN’R classics with old band mate Axl Rose – along with the singer’s group of hired hands – at London’s O2 Arena. Rose had reconnected with Duff by accident at the hotel he and his new mates were staying at, noting that when introducing him by saying, “There was this guy at the end of my hallway playing all this loud music and s—. And I was all like, ‘What the f—?’ Oh – it’s Duff!”<\/p>\n

It’s being reported that during the remainder of the show McKagan made several appearances, adding rhythm guitar on ‘Nice Boys’ and ‘Knocking on Heaven’s Door’, while during the encore number ‘Patience’ he jammed on the tambourine.

\nMaybe this could be the open door that devoted GN’R fans have been looking for. The original GN’R split up
\nsome fifteen years ago (Duff was the last to leave in August of ’97)… so while it’s best not to hold your breath on the reunion happening, this is still quite the momentous occasion in rock history.
