\nLong running American death metal act CATTLE DECAPITATION will set out on the \u201cCalifornia Blood Tour\u201d with DEVOURMENT, KNIGHTS OF THE ABYSS, BURNING MASSES, and SON OF AURELIUS beginning late September. Cattle Decapitation’s Travis Ryan comments:

\n \u201cWe\u2019ve had this idea for a tour that was mostly comprised of California bands for quite a while now. I don\u2019t know, there was just something about the term \u2018California love\u2019 (popularized by Tupac Shakur) that never quite sat right with us so we came up with something a little more fitting, considering the level of brutality that California has always had under its belt.
\n
\n From the seedy sewers in the big cities to the \u2018Cowshwitz\u2019 communities of central CA to the inhospitable depravity of the dry desert, we decided it was time to show the rest of the US that CaliGOREnia is not just about hippies, silicone bodies and marijuana dispensaries (not that there\u2019s anything wrong with that, haha!)\u201d
