\nSouthern California\u2019s ANTAGONIST has unveiled the cover art for their new album, \u201cWorld In Decline,\u201d which has just been confirmed for an August 17th release date on Prosthetic Records. The art was done by Daniel McBride, (Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris) and ties in to the overall theme of the record.

\nVocalist\/guitarist Carolos Garcia explains the relationship between the cover and album; \u201c\u2019World in Decline\u2019 focuses on the downfall of human civilization as a result of our own selfishness, ignorance, and greed. The artwork was handled by our boy Daniel McBride, and the cover art is based on the lyrics for \u2018Darkest Darkness,\u2019 which, is basically, about me going to \u2018confession\u2019 just to realize I\u2019m just as guilty as everyone else in contributing to our decline. We can\u2019t wait for Prosthetic to release the album, and we\u2019re even more excited to hit the road and play the new songs for everyone! There are definitely tour plans for the end of the summer, we\u2019ll keep you posted.\u201d

\nANTAGONIST recorded \u201cWorld In Decline,\u201d at Buzzbomb Studios in Orange, CA with producer Paul Miner (Terror, Thrice, Throwdown) and announced, last week, guest vocal appearances from ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS\u2019 Jared Monette and John Strachan of THE FUNERAL PYRE.
