\nChicago-based BURNHILL UNION RECORDS is proud to announce the signing of Florida melodic metal group EKOTREN, to their growing rock label. EKOTREN is once again teaming up with producer Paul Trust (Endo, Diecast, Atom Smash) and are looking to release their sophomore record sometime before the end of the year. The band will be hitting the studio in early July to record the new album.

\nEKOTREN\u2019s debut album, \u201cLight The Fire\u201d, was released by in February 2008. The CD\u2019s lead single, \u201cLight The Fire\u201d, spent 32 weeks as one of the most requested songs on Sirius Satellite Radio, Hard Attack\u2019s Devil\u2019s Dozen, peaking at No. 3. The band has been on the road relentlessly since the release of the album and has shared the stage with the likes of Staind, Chevelle, Nonpoint, Flyleaf, Saliva, Ill Nino, Diecast, Bobaflex, Straight Line Stitch and others\u2026

\nKeith Finnell (guitar) added the following statement \u201cWe are really excited to be working with Burnhill Union, and can\u2019t wait to hit the studio in July to finish the album!\u201d

\nBURNHILL UNION RECORDS, a Hard Rock\/Metal label started earlier this year by partners Kym Affinito, Randy Kertz and Shaun Glass(ex-SOIL\/current DIRGE WITHIN guitarist), the label current roster consist of AM Conspiracy and Rikets, 2010 will see further expansion for the label and great growth for artists already signed.
