\nSwedish metallers SOILWORK have completed the writing process of their new album: The Panic Broadcast. Vocalist Bjorn \u201cSpeed\u201d Strid issued this update:<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat up people? After a long but intense absence, I\u2019m back giving you a little report on what\u2019s going on in the SOILWORK camp. We have just wrapped up the last songs on the new record and I have a constant smile on my face. The title of the new album will be The Panic Broadcast. I\u2019m so stoked to record this new album and I feel it\u2019s going to be quite a challenge for everybody in the band.<\/p>\n
So how\u2019s it sounding? Here\u2019s my personal take. I feel it\u2019s larger than life to use an old clich\u00e9. Seriously, if any of you for some reason have missed some of that intricate riffing that made SOILWORK unique, you won\u2019t have to wait very long. I feel this record is very playful and we\u2019re not cutting down on anything. No \u201cis this too much information\u201d \u2013consideration this time, no \u201cless is more\u201d, just pure musical joy with no boundaries. THAT to me what it\u2019s all about. Obviously there\u2019s going to be some surprises like always but giving every member of this band the freedom to go apeshit, will make this record a heavy and naturally catchy one. So\u2026<\/p>\n
