Texas, USA\u2019s death metal powerhouse\u00a0ABOLISHMENT OF FLESH<\/a>\u00a0is unshackling their latest music video for their track\u00a0“Hater of Man”\u00a0<\/strong>off their latest EP\u00a0\u201cResurrecting Misanthropy\u201d<\/strong>, released in 2023 via\u00a0Blood Bast Distribution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A relentless barrage of guttural death metal to knock you off your feet, the song is about a child in the womb who senses the rejection and hatred of a drug addict mother. This child grows to become disassociated with society and reality. In the end, the person is consumed with hate for themselves and everyone around them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This was another one I wrote almost 10 years ago. The part after the solo was rewritten and re-arranged. The older version was old-school death metal so I wanted to modernize it in a sense. I think it turned out nicely and the riffs are really fun to play.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band is not just death metal, they throw in some black metal, melody, thrash, groove, and grind. Their sound incorporates several aspects of metal and they don\u2019t just stick to one formula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With themes rooted in war, violence, disease, corruption, and the systematic collapse of human civilization, Abolishment of Flesh<\/strong> delivers an anti-human message about death and destruction. Although AOF’s violent and grim nature of its lyrics is serious, its main focus is on metal music and creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
