Vocalist&nbsp;<strong>Olav \u201cRavn\u201d Bergene<\/strong>&nbsp;said of this cut:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u201c\u2018<strong>The God Devourer<\/strong>.\u2019 Opening track of \u2018<strong>The Wolf and the King<\/strong>.\u2019 It tears a hole in the universe and set the atmosphere for the album as a whole.
