Combining angry and furious death metal and grindcore,\u00a0I, Cursed<\/strong>\u00a0is the brutal band of\u00a0Eero Haula<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Ville-Veikko Laaksonen<\/strong>, who are known from\u00a0Atlases<\/strong>,\u00a0Marto<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Oceanwake<\/strong>, among others.\u00a0\u00a0

A new “Death Holograms” EP is set to be released\u00a0on July 17th 2024 as CD-digisleeve (ecopack) and on essential streaming services. The upcoming EP is produced by I, Cursed and\u00a0Jerkka Per\u00e4l\u00e4<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0Soft Neon Audiovisual<\/strong>, whose handprint can be heard and seen in the mixing, mastering, cover art and lyric video for the “Death Holograms” EP. The release of the singles and the “Death Holograms” EP is handled in cooperation by Finnish record labels\u00a0Inverse Records<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Meara Music<\/a>\u00a0which is also an agency and event producer based in Ulvila.\u00a0

BIOGRAPHY:\u00a0<\/strong>
Combining angry and furious death metal and grindcore, I, Cursed, from the Pori \/ Ulvila area, is a brutal dredging of Ville-Veikko Laaksonen and Eero Haula, known from Atlases, Marto and Oceanwake, among others, which is fed to the Finnish metal scene in an atonal coldness. Operating as a duo outside the performance stages, I, Cursed’s music is a mix of something old and familiar, the HM-2 sound of Swedish grind, and somewhat more modern and crushing production. The live line-up is filled by guitarist\u00a0Nico Brander<\/strong>\u00a0from Marto and drummer\u00a0Arttu Lepp\u00e4nen<\/strong>\u00a0from Atlases and Marto.\u00a0\u00a0
