MUDVAYNE\/HELLYEAH<\/strong> vocalist Chad Gray<\/strong> has discussed his early adoration of glam metal band M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce<\/strong>. But he also revealed that he is no fan of the band\u2019s latest round of reunion touring, which beyond epic legal battles and lineup changes, has faced numerous allegations of lip-syncing and heavy usage of backing tracks. Some of those allegations have even come from the band’s ousted 72-year-old guitarist Mick Mars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brutal criticism of vocalist Vince Neil<\/strong>, however, is at the forefront. There\u2019s been no shortage of videos that capture Neil’s “lip sync” based live performances, or other disastrous moments (like falling off the stage) at his own solo shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on The Jesea Lee Show<\/strong>, Gray stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt this point, I would just bow out. It\u2019s not the same, dude. I\u2019m not the guy that fucking like just wants to sit and talk shit, but I have, unfortunately\u2026 It hits me in such a pure place, and to see it just kind of turn into fucking whatever because it was such a big part of my life, and so it\u2019s hard for me to watch.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked if he feels M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce<\/strong> \u201cshould just call it completely at this point\u201d, Gray<\/strong> responded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUnless you wanna try harder. You know what I mean? … but it\u2019s just, like, come on, man.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
