The band consists of two sets of teenage brothers – singer/rhythm guitarist Jeremy Goldberg, lead guitarist Jordan Ziff, bassist Jacob Goldberg and drummer Garrett Ziff – who have all been honing their instruments since elementary school.

“We literally did everything together when we were young. From family vacations, to making jackass videos, and everything in between, we were always inseparable,” explains Jeremy of how Age Of Evil became a reality. “The four of us listened to the same kind of music and when Jordan and Garrett picked up their instruments [at the age of 7] it only made sense that we form a band. We were also really inspired by the movie That Thing You Do, a film based off of The Beatles, and when we saw all of the girls that bands got, we knew the music business was a business we wanted to be in!”

The EP features the melodic, old school thrash-inspired originals “Cruel Intentions” and “Get Dead,” plus two live tracks (“Eye For An Eye” and “Glimpse Of Light”) and covers of Skid Row’s “Slave To The Grind” and Judas Priest’s “Electric Eye.” However, the band has stockpiled enough material for a full length album and is currently looking for the right producer to work with.

“We never think small and aspire to be nothing but the biggest and the best. In the next few years we want to be touring and are really looking forward to releasing more music,” Jeremy said. “I hope to have a full length album out this time next year and to have the support of my fans in order to tour the shit out of it.”

And, he adds, being in school won’t stop them from hitting the road. “My brother Jacob and I are still in school. He is in high school and I am in college, but that does not change the fact that our band is a major priority in our lives,” he said. “In fact, it can help get word out about Age Of Evil, and online classes are expanding. The plan is to be on tour and to choose the right one geared toward kids our age. We have played a lot of festivals and toured with some bands that tend to attract more of the old school thrashers, and while always great and lots of fun, now it is time to focus on playing for a new generation of listeners.”

http://www.myspace.com/ageofevil

After the independent release of 2007’s Living A Sick Dream, Scottsdale, Arizona (USA) band AGE…

[1

post-11009","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news
["GET
