 There has been speculation <\/a>that back in 1992 when M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong> fired Vince Neil <\/strong>from the lineup due to his issues with alcohol, lack of interest music, and a desire to become a race car driver, it was rumored that Christian rocker Ken Tamplin<\/strong> was considered as the former vocalist\u2019s replacement, which Nikki Sixx<\/strong> recently revealed was not true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Answering an X question about whether Tamplin was going to join Cr\u00fce in the \u201990s, the bassist wrote:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know who that singer is, so \u2018No.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to his Wikipedia page<\/a>. Tamplin is a cousin to former Van Halen<\/strong> frontman Sammy Hagar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hagar said of Tamplin in an interview: “I’ve only met him once. But you know, he sends me his records and all that stuff.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite this rumor about a Christian rocker was going to sing for the world’s most dangerous band, we all know that instead of Tamplin, John Corabi <\/strong>stepped in for Vince Neil<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Corabi, M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce released their 1994 self-titled album, but reports suggested that Ken Tamplin<\/strong> also played on some unreleased tracks from \u2018Generation Swine.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the person who asked the previous question also wanted to find out whether these alleged recordings would \u2018see the light of day,\u2019 Sixx explained:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd there are no (other) songs recorded during that era. Everything we\u2019ve recorded has been released unless unfinished demos from many eras.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamplin is an accomplished rock music performer in his own right, who has gained a legion of followers online for his Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy<\/a><\/strong>, where he teaches people how to sing properly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Believe it or not, Tamplin was at one time in a band with Ex-MEGDADETH guitarist Marty Friedman<\/strong> called SHOUT<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
