ex-SLAYER<\/strong> guitarist Kerry King<\/strong>\u2018s new musical venture will simply be titled \u2018Kerry King<\/strong>\u2018. While there\u2019s no official word yet on who else will be joining him in the project sans fellow Slayer<\/strong> alumni Paul Bostaph<\/strong> (drums), the logo for the project has newly been unveiled. The group\u2019s first show to be announced was confirmed earlier today November 8th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band is booked to be headlining one of the side stages at the May 9th opening date of this year\u2019s \u2018Welcome To Rockville<\/strong>\u2018 festival. Further live dates are expected in the weeks and months to come. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As reported in the past,\u00a0Phil Anselmo<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0Pantera<\/strong>, etc. fame was once thought to be attached to the legendary thrash guitarist\u2019s new project, while rumors of the group being titled\u00a0Blood Reign<\/strong>\u00a0also circulated. Rumor going around is that Anselmo is going to be fired by PANTERA<\/a> for the ‘racist outburst’ he had at 2016 Dimebash when he blurted out “White Power” and flashed the Nazi salute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
